Ubank backs Supreme Boxing to unfold another boxing tournament

Sports in South Africa underpins community involvement. It contributes to our national pride and should certainly not be underrated. Sports enhances a much needed community lifestyle, confidence and pride in our communities and furthermore, it creates occasions to enhance various commercial opportunities, thus contributing to the socio-economic advancement to participating communities.

Many a times, sports offer platforms for up and coming talents from both a promoters’ and athletes’ point of view to be noticed and where possible, “hand-picked” and trained to be the next South African and sometimes international representation, as in the case of Akani Phuzi, who successfully became continental champion during September 2018 tournament supported by Ubank.

Hence we have decided to continue backing Supreme Boxing Promoters to unfold their 2^nd  WBA Pan Africa Cruiserweight Title Fight dubbed the “Young Gladiators Battle of the Giants” boxing tournament on the 31^st March 2019 in Blairgowrie, Randburg”, said Ubank CEO, Luthando Vutula.

Preceding this boxing tournament, Ubank will host the media briefing and a pre-fight medicals held at Ubank House, in Johannesburg on the 26^th March 2019, where the champion Akani Phuzi will come face-to-face with his opponent Maroy Sadiki.
